A diet that is suitable for vegetarians

Are you a vegetarian?  A lot of the low carb, high protein diets have left the vegetarians wondering how they can follow a plan that involves more meat than most carnivores naturally consume.

High protein diets normally contain very little carbohydrate which is of course the main stay of a vegetarian’s diet.  Worst of all, most high protein diets encourage the dieter to consume meat with little regard for what type of meat making it sound like it’s better to choose bacon over even a piece of broccoli.

It’s insane, really.  If you’re a vegetarian, you’ve obviously chosen a way of eating that should be healthier.  That’s not always easy though.  Some vegetarians have even chosen this because of their feelings on slaughtering animals.  They might not even like a wide range of vegetables. This may be you?

Instead, you may consume things like chips or nutritionally devoid white flour products such as breads, pastas and white rice.  This usually ends up with weight gain and poor health.

It is possible to be a vegetarian, lose weight and eat healthfully in a convenient way.

Personal trainer Simon Lovell created his Lunch Box Diet to help his busy clients eat the way they should and lose weight in a very convenient doable way.  The really great thing is that he quickly saw how it could be easily used by vegetarians as well. The trademark of The Lunch Box Diet is the actual lunch box that you prepare in the morning and nibble on all day. This box contains mostly vegetables from a rainbow of choices, a lean protein source and flavour from natural sources rather than creamy dressings and other fattening flavourings.

The lean protein can in fact be from a meat source; however, it can very easily be from legumes, seeds, nuts and soy products like tofu. Finally a healthy solution for the heath conscious vegetarian!

If you are a vegetarian, you know that it is more difficult for you to get all the essential amino acids that your body requires be taken in through the diet.  This is simply because meat is the only complete source of all the essential amino acids.  However, by combining different incomplete sources throughout the day, you can also achieve your protein needs.

The Lunch Box Diet allows you to eat a normal breakfast and dinner which of course should be healthy.  When you include something like kidney beans in your lunch box with some seeds or nuts as well as all the wonderful vegetables and then include brown rice with your dinner, you are in fact receiving all the essential amino acids. What’s more, Simons dressing suggestions keep the lunch boxes bursting full of flavour. These combinations can be changed daily to keep things fresh, fun and tasty.

The biggest advantage of using the Lunch Box Diet as a vegetarian is that you have your food at your side all day long.  No more getting hungry and trying desperately to find a healthy vegetarian meal quickly. So isn’t it about time you got started now that you know that The Lunch Box Diet is the number one healthy solution for a vegetarian.
