Better Than Average, Spicy Beans on Toast
Makes one serving
1 slice whole wheat bread
½ teaspoon butter
½ cup canned beans
½ teaspoon country style (grainy) mustard
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon Jack cheese (shredded)
Heat beans in medium saucepan. Stir in mustard and pepper. While beans are heating, toast bread.
Butter toast lightly, top with beans and shredded Jack cheese. Serve.
