If you know anything about me then you’ll know that my life turned around after becoming a personal trainer and nutritional advisor. After being overweight and bullied, I had to do something about it. I never knew then a grazing diet would shape so many lives and why more importantly a no hunger diet plays a huge role in whether get to our weight loss goal, and stay there.
When you meet so many women who want to lose weight, you start to notice similar characteristics, and I’m sure that you can relate to some of the following with diet plans you’ve tried before.
The list really goes on. When we graze, our bodies are constantly kept ‘satisfied’ and satisfaction is a massive word when it comes even outside of the weight loss world. When have you ever been satisfied and then looked for any other solution? This is massive. Have a think about that again. When have you ever been ‘satisfied’ and ever looked for any other solution? If you’re in a relationship and you’re satisfied, do you look for another partner? No. If you’re satisfied in your job, do you look for another job. No?
So if you’re on a healthy eating plan that ‘satisfies you’ and keeps you hungry, then changes are its going to work for you, not just in the short term but in long term too. By keeping youself hungry you get these benefits.
I had another email this morning. It hit my email box at midnight in fact (yes very early this morning). It was from a lady who came across the diet, who understood its basic principles and had tried it for a while. That same quote came up again ‘I don’t feel like I’m on a diet’.
Now I don’t like to talk about celebrities too much, but Cameron Diaz is a grazer and look at her body. Sure, she exercises, but so can you too. In fact, she’s even said to be a fan of The Lunch Box Diet and it wouldn’t surprise me, but let’s shake it up for a second. Model what the successful people are doing. It works. Don’t get in the mind set that you’re ‘not one of them’. That’s just the way your mind works and it’s playing games with you. I never thought I’d be mentoring women lose weight, it was never part of what I thought I’d be doing, but losing weight and boosting my self esteem changed my career path and the same can happen to you.
So my message here is – even if you decide not to try The Lunch Box Diet, find something that satisfies you. If you start a new eating plan and you body is still craving food and what you enjoy, it’s time to move onto something else because you’ll carry on yo-yo dieting. You need a no hunger diet for life.
Satisfaction is the key.
