How To Stop Overeating With This 10 Point ‘Mind Before Mouth’ Checklist

How To Stop Overeating

How do you stop overeating when you have sugar coated mid morning bun, with a cherry on top staring in your face? Or what about a crispy sun-dried tomato favour crisps, perfectly coated in salt. Or how about just a small piece of rich, creamy chocolate, delicately sprinkled with a darker layer or Belgium chocolate?

All sounds appealing, doesn’t it? In the moment, all of these foods will take you right from instant attraction to seduction, all the way through to a pleasure zone that just for a few seconds is pure bliss. Until next time… a few hours, minutes or seconds? How long until you need the next fix?

Was it you who instigated this fling, or is it a long term affair that you just can’t seem to shift? Or were you introduced to your ‘signature’ happy food by a friend at work? Was it something that was ‘supposed to be for the kids’ or a manic moment in a supermarket as you ‘stocked up’ due to hunger pangs. Maybe it’s a combination of all of these?

Whatever the reason for you holding this food in your hands, I would like you to refer to my new simple Simon ‘Mind Before Mouth‘ checklist – a simple but powerful list of questions that can help to overpower that crazy moment.

Take action and actually print this little beauty out. Maybe write down the points onto a little card, have it in your bag, or stuck to the fridge. But whatever you do, always refer to the list! Your belly will thank me for it, and your bum, and your smile :-)
